![]() ![]() In Genesis 13, God told Abraham, “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are…for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.” (v.14, 15) This same title deed was passed from Abraham to Isaac, “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and bless you for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham, your father.” (Genesis 26:3) And again, the right to the Promised Land was passed from Isaac to Jacob, “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.” (Genesis 28:13) Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) This was a literal covenant for a literal land, therefore this title deed to Israel stands at the time it was made between God and Abraham and its stands today and forever. God made covenant with the Jewish people for the land of Israel and He does not lie or break covenant, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. You have not only offended the Almighty you have also received His full attention. ![]() ![]() The prophet Zechariah is declaring in these verses that if you come against Israel and her people it is as if you have thrust your finger in the pupil of God’s eye. The Apple of His Eye.the apple of one’s eye is its center. Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion.” (Zechariah 2:8-10) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent Me. And all of God’s children said, “Praise the Lord.For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After He has honored Me and has sent Me against the nations that have plundered you-for whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye - I will surely raise My hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. In Jesus’ name, I pray you receive this blessing all the days of your life. May your children and your children’s children live in the liberty we enjoy because in our generation, we stood up and were counted for righteousness’ sake. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. ![]() What a mighty God we serve! Wait, I say, on the Lord! He is your Savior, Redeemer and Good Shepherd – faithful and true. He has conquered death, hell and the grave. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the fairest of ten thousand, the Lamb of God for sinners slain. He is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. He’s the One who brings you peace that surpasses understanding and joy in the midst of great sorrow. He’s the One who said that He will provide your every need according to His riches in glory. He’s the One who said that when you call on Him, He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not. He is the God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ask or think. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. The promises of God’s Word may take longer to come to pass than your impatient self wants, but if you wait on the Lord, He will strengthen your heart and keep His promises. Wait on the Lord Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart Wait, I say, on the Lord! ![]()
