It is a turned-based tactics game with grid-based movement and a cover system, but set on a 2D plane with player-controlled aiming instead of RNG. In short, I would describe Steamworld Heist as Worms meets modern XCOM. Steamworld Heist looked like an entirely different experience, which it is, but within the same universe which I very much liked. ![]() Steamworld Dig wasn't as much up my alley as it was just a mindless dig, but I don't say that with contempt as I fully understand the value of a relaxing, casual game. With age I'm developing more of a taste for turn based tactics/strategy games, perhaps due to the slower, decisiveness of the gameplay.
